Full Name: Fayelin “Faye” Parker
Age: 19
Skills: Can speak French fluently (English is her second language)
Appearance: Slim, with a slightly willowy build. She’s in shape, and her light brown hair comes down to about her shoulders. She likes to leave it down, but when she’s in a dangerous mood, she’ll put it up into either a ponytail or a bun. She wears fashionable and expensive clothing—mostly to impress her people and help keep them in line.
Personality: Smooth talker, intelligent, and good to have around in a crisis. She can (outwardly) keep her cool, no matter what the situation. She has an excellent reign on her temper, but when it does escape—watch out!
Likes: Fairytales, happy endings, feeling like she’s done something right, keeping her and her own safe. (She would never admit to half of these things, though.)
Dislikes: Being viewed as weak, being weak, losing, men who throw their weight around.
History: Faye has learned, over the years, how to do whatever’s necessary to keep her and her own safe. Unfortunately, there aren’t many of “hers” left. Her parents are dead, and her younger brother skipped town (read: was smuggled out) with her daughter, Joey, several years ago.
Her father was a huge crime boss, but was offed by a mole who’d managed to get close to him when Faye was not quite 18. (The mole never made it out alive.) Her brother took over for a while, but he wasn’t very good at it—all he wanted was out. Out of the crime industry, out of the whole city. At that point, Faye’s long-time boyfriend, who was a graf artist, had just been beaten to death by a couple of cops looking to make an example out of him, leaving Faye alone with a little girl to raise by herself.
So she decided to step up and take her father’s old job. She arranged for a corrupt but fairly trustworthy cop to get her brother and daughter out of the city, and to make it look like she’d killed him and stolen his job. She then proceeded to ‘take care of’ anyone else who’d been vying for her brother’s job. She’d spent her childhood watching her father work, even though he tried to keep her away and ignorant of the majority of what he did, so she knew exactly how the great Allen Parker would get his people to settle down.
